Pitch, or Vladimir in normal life, since his youth, liked everything related to punk music and lifestyle. He was inspired by the rhythms of Russians and not only punk rockers. In the late 90s, his musical preferences shifted sharply towards electronic psychedelic music and collecting music became a new passion, first on regular cassettes, and then on CD and DAT. Already having on hand a considerable amount of material collected bit by bit, exchanging with the best collectors around the world, Vladimir began to try himself as a DJ. Subsequently, he participated in parties all over the Russia as well as in Finland, Brazil, Holland, Thailand, Goa, etc. Somewhere in the 2000s, Pitch, together with Alex Parasense and co., organized parties under the brand Party People. These parties featured a lot of great music and guests from Bomshanka, Peak, Looney Moon, and other top psychedelic trance labels. After one of these parties, in 2011, Ajja invited Pitch to join the international team of the Swiss label Peak Records. And in 2023 he joins another part of his old pirate family, the World People Crew.
For his sets, Pitch always selects tracks with a clear “jumping” rhythm, extraordinary content and an interesting story. Besides being a dj, Pitch has a Master Degree in physics from a top Russian university. His diploma was devoted to chemical physics description of fractal multilayered structures in crystallized polymers.
